Pastor of Youth & Family Discipleship

Grace Community Church is a growing church located in Worthington, MN, a thriving, diverse community in SW Minnesota. Our focus is helping people from all nations to know Christ, become like Him, and make Him known. We seek to do this through multiplying disciples, multiplying leaders, and multiplying churches. Our community of 15,000 people has the highest percentage of minorities in the state of Minnesota; the world is at our door. We are a ministry context that is both rural and urban or “rurban” as we like to say.

At Grace we have an active Youth ministry of 7-12 grade students with attendance of 40-60 youth on a Wednesday night. Most of our youth come from outreach into our community. We also have a growing number of young families who are eager to disciple their children and grow in their marriages but need equipping and direction. Our previous Pastor of Family Discipleship headed to the mission field in Kenya, so we are looking for his replacement.

The Pastor of Youth & Family Discipleship will equip parents in the discipleship of their youth and children. He will also provide direct leadership of Grace’s youth ministry and provide oversight to the children’s ministry leaders in order that children and youth might know Christ, become like Him, and make Him known. This position will provide vision and shepherding to ensure the continuity of discipleship from birth through high school.
