Welcome to Kingdom Kids!

At our Wednesday night discipleship ministry, Kingdom Kids, classes are available for Pre-K through 6th Grade. We are currently studying "The Biggest Story" curriculum which leads kids on an exciting journey through the Bible and helps them grasp its overarching message of redemption.

Romans 8:38-39 (NIV) For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 

Read Acts 12 together this week and discuss the questions below:

  1. How did Satan try to stop Peter from preaching about Jesus? Who rescued Peter from prison?

  2. When the church learned that Peter was in prison, what did they do? What did God do in answer to their prayers?                                                        

  3. What happened to the word of God after Peter was rescued from prison? And what happened to the church? Can God’s word or the church be stopped by Satan? 

Takeaway: We pray to a God who can rescue his people from evil. With God’s Spirit at work and God’s people at prayer, the word keeps going and the church keeps growing.
